The Stefanov Family

    Mrs. Ivanka Stefanov received a Bachelor Degree in Piano Performance from University of Musical Arts, Belgrade, Yugoslavia. She has been teaching piano and theory professionally for over 40 years. Ivanka performed with “SAR” trio and served as a Church Organist and Music Director for Presbyterian Church of Seffner and UMC Wellspring Church. Ivanka is an active member of Friday Morning Musicale Club, Tampa Teacher Association, National Guild of Piano Teachers and served as Bay Ridge Festival co-chairman for 2006-07. She has participated as a judge at Bay Ridge District Festival, Florida State Convention, Midstate Teacher Association. Ivanka is the founder and president of Academic Piano Studio.

     Ms. Emi P. Stefanov received a Bachelor and Master Degrees in Piano Performance from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, TX. She has been actively teaching piano, voice and musical theatre for over 15 years. Emi has been on the faculty of SMU Community Education, FSU/Asolo Conservatory, Midlothian HS, Broadway Theatre Project, Hoffman Institute for Performing Arts/Ruth Eckerd Hall, Hillsborough Community College, to name a few. Currently Emi is a music director at Eight O'Clock Theatre, and owner of Coins Productions. She is an active member of Friday Morning Musicale Club, National Guild of Piano Teachers and Bay Ridge Festival co-chairman for 2006-07.

     Mr. Petar Stefanov is piano technician and active member of Academic Piano Studio. Petar received a Bachelor Degree in Bassoon Performance in Belgrade, Yugoslavia and Diploma from American School of Piano Tuning. He was first bassoonist at Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra for 20 years, and bassoonist at Gilbert & Sullivan Orchestra, Romberg Orchestra, Fort Myers Symphony, Palm Beach Opera, as well as “SAR” trio. As a piano technician, Petar’s clients include private homes, churches, schools, etc. He is an active member of Master Piano Technician of America and member of International Double Reed Society.
